In Spain we are living a difficult situation due to the health alarm caused by the coronavirus. Because of this, the Spanish government has recommended that all citizens stay in their homes. However, many people need to go to work every day.
Many of them work in supermarkets, pharmacies or hospitals, where they can have direct contact with people infected with coronavirus. To avoid contagion and its spread, these people must follow a series of recommendations. It is in our hands to stop its expansion!
How to prevent the spread of the coronavirus at work?
- Hygiene is very important anywhere and is our best weapon against the virus. Wash your hands frequently with plenty of soap and water.
- Avoid touching your face with dirty hands. If after touching surfaces contaminated by the virus we touch our eyes, mouth or nose we can become infected.
- Work from home as much as possible. Teleworking allows us to reduce the chances of contagion both in your workplace and on the way to it.
- If you are among the people who should go to work, avoid direct contact with your colleagues and keep your workplace clean.
- Use disposable tissues when you cough, sneeze, or wash your hands. Once you have used them they go directly to the trash, so that nobody touches them.
- If you have any of the symptoms related to the coronavirus, such as fever, cough or breathing difficulties, inform your company of your current situation and stay home. You should also call 900 112 061
