Surgical treatment of acuminata condylomas in Tenerife and Gran Canaria

Description

At Insituto Proctológico Dr Padrón, acuminata condylomas (genital warts) are treated. These are warts that appear both on the skin and on the mucous membranes of the anogenital area. It is a venereal disease, which must be treated initially by the dermatologist.

The removal of acuminata condylomas is a surgical treatment that is performed on an outpatient basis, with local anaesthesia. The removal is done in phases, generally, 2 surgical sessions are necessary. Interventions are followed by reviews to verify that there has been no proliferation of the condylomas.

  • This budget considers that the treatment described is carried out within six months of the surgical intervention.

The treatment is performed on an outpatient basis, does not require hospital admission. During the intervention, which lasts between 25 and 30 minutes, local anaesthesia is used. After the operation, the patient must remain at rest for 1 or 2 days.
