Description
This product consists of carrying out the three diagnostic tests carried out at Centro de Mama de Tenerife, mammography, ultrasound and densitometry. This combination of diagnostic tests allows patients to know the health of their breasts and bones in a precise way thanks to the first-class technology offered by the clinic.
In this way it is possible to detect breast cancer, as well as osteoporosis at an early stage in order to be able to apply an early treatment that reduces the discomfort of the patients.

Recommendations before a digital mammography
Inform the doctor of previous breast surgeries, hormonal treatments, or the existence of a family history.
Avoid using deodorant, talcum powder or any lotion or cream on the breasts as it may interfere with the result.
Take advantage of the week after the period in which the breasts are less sensitive to carry out this test.
What is an ultrasound for?
Digital ultrasound allows images to be obtained in real time to check the structure and blood flow of the breasts. Being an additional test, it is used to have more data when a tumor has been detected in a breast examination, when the results of a mammogram are abnormal or if there is discharge from the nipple.
