Dr. Antonio Alayón
Director, Centro Neurológico Alayón
Antonio Alayón is a Doctor of Medicine and Surgery and a specialist in Neurology. He has a Postgraduate in Electromyography from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (UAB). Dr. Alayón directs the Antonio Alayón Neurological Center, which focuses on the total care of patients with chronic brain diseases and other neurological processes. Brain diseases and injuries (head injuries, ischemic strokes, brain hemorrhages, tumors, encephalitis, neurodegenerative diseases – Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, etc.) carry physical, psychological (cognitive, behavioral and emotional) and functional after effects that have dramatic repercussions at a personal, family, social and work level.
The available evidence has shown that the interdisciplinary approach to these injuries and their aftermath is not only the most reasonable form of treatment, but also the most effective and efficient.
