It requires extraction of the back of the scalp with hair follicles that will be extracted from underneath a microscope lens.
A technique that will leave a scar that most times is practically invisible and even so there are treatments such as the Trichophytic Aesthetic Suture that prepares the skin and the wound edges of the area such that the residual scar is a thin line by which hair grows again and is virtually negligible.
How is postoperative?
With a cut of the scalp, the procedure will need stitches and therefore there will be a rest time, which reduces to about 3-4 days.

Extraction of follicles with the FUE method
